The Elite Athlete Development initiative was
created to encourage competitive spirit and increased participation at
DA-ranked tournaments, as well as enhance athletic performance at the elite level.
Elite Development Award
The DA ranking lists are in effect September 1 to August 31 each year.
The top 2 ranked men and the top 2 ranked women as of April 30
of each year will each be awarded with the following:
 Darts
Alberta shirt
$1,000.00 toward travel,
shared accommodation and entry fee expenses
associated with traveling to the PDC Desert Classic in
Las Vegas June 30-July 6, 2008.*
*if a recipient is unable to attend the PDC Desert Classic
in
Las Vegas, the the WDF-ranked Quebec Open
(January), as an alternative.
