Workshop Outline (approximate length of workshop – 8 hours)
The purpose of this initiative to certify officiators (referees) for the sport of darts by providing current and new tournament organizers with a general overview of the following:
how to organize a tournament
how to obtain sponsorship
provincial ranked tournaments
DA zones & provincials
NDFC ranked tournaments
NDFC rules
overview of stage play functions
tournament formats
draw sheets & seeding instructions
Certification Requirements – Level I
To successfully complete your level I, participants are required to:
complete the level i officiating workshop
successfully complete an open book exam
DA Certified Level I Officiators may choose to further their skills and experience by participating in the Level II Certification Program offered through the NDFC, offered in conjunction with the NDFC Adult and Youth National Championships
Level I Workshops Costs
participants are required to pre-registered at least 10 days prior to the workshop
pre-registration fee: $25.00 per participant
